Getting through CCT

I don’t know if it’s already general knowledge, but I am now working for Convergys Philippines, Corp. as a Customer Service Associate. [insert applause]

It’s a major set back from studying at Ateneo, but hey, some things just happen in this world. We make our own path and we venture through it until we swerve to another turn again. That’s life, and that’s what’s happening to me now.

Going back to the idea of me working, last week we had our final days for our Communications and Culture training in my job. It was a real heart stopper especially with the moody and weird trainer we had. It was a 5 day training that tackled pronunciation sessions, proper use of prepositions (which I still have mistakes with), and basic American traits that we need to be oriented with. And of course there were mock calls included, which was the heaviest requirement we needed.

The course required us to achieve at least 85% from our curriculum, and luckily I got 92% which was the highest for the newbies [veterans not included]/ Ha-ha.

Oh well, that was a heap of fun, but I don’t want that training to happen again man. :p
